Konni Logan
Spiritual Director
M.A. Pastoral Counseling & Spiritual Formation

My husband, Tommy and I have two adult daughters: Rachel and Laura.

Immanuel. God lovingly offers us His very presence as we live out our lives in the daily fray. But oftentimes we feel alone and disconnected from Him; like we're going through our hard stuff down here, while He feels far away.

The ministry of Spiritual Direction offers quiet space in which to slow down and notice how God is present in our lives as we journey with Him through the hard stuff, the easy stuff, and everything in between.

My husband Tommy and I were serving in Papua New Guinea, translating the Bible for the Kasua people, when I sensed God leading me to study pastoral counseling. Many years later, I received an MA in Pastoral Counseling and Spiritual Formation through CIU in Columbia, SC. God blessed me with the training and tools to help missionaries through the unique challenges of living and working overseas.

After completing the Kasua New Testament, we moved back to the US and settled in the quant small town of Beaufort, North Carolina in 2017, where the fishing is good. While Tommy began his work on translating the Old Testament, I began to sense a familiar stirring. I didn't know very much about spiritual direction but after a Google search, I found a Silent Retreat weekend in Chicago and Tommy took me there. That weekend was life changing for me; I knew I had found what my soul was hungering for. I enrolled in a two year program at Christos Center for Spiritual Formation and received my certificate in May, 2020.

I am so thankful to God for both the pastoral counseling training and spiritual direction. As a hybrid, I combine both of these ministries when journeying with others. The passion of my heart is to walk with another while she is walking with God. Three cords are not easily broken. As I listen to you, helping you process the unfolding events in your life, I am also listening to God. Immanuel. How is God intertwined in your story? My favorite verse in the Bible is “For You are with me” from Psalm 23:4. So, how is God “with you” in your story?
